Photography – Toronto Harbourfront (2013)
Considering the fact that my few photography-centric posts seem to be quite popular I’ve decided to keep trekking along with them. I chose to shoot some quick shots of my hometown, namely Toronto, except the goal this time around isn’t to ram them through post-processing in Instagram but merely to present them as is. The reason is simple: I’m now using a Nokia Lumia 1020 as my primary smartphone and that means it is time to check this monstrous 41 mega-pixel camera out.

Photography – Xbox One & Playstation 4 Instagram Pictures
Since I have two editorials leading the site about the Xbox One and PS4 I thought it would be appropriate to post a few pictures I took while setting up the systems in my office. None of these pictures are in any way “award-winning” as I was in a rush to plug everything in and start gaming so I apologize for the lack of artistry.

Photography – New York City (2013)
I was pleasantly surprised that many readers flocked to my recent September Galactic Pillow Update post to take a look at some of the Instagram photos that I uploaded from my recent trip to New York City. Therefore, I’ve decided to upload a few more Instagram shots that I took in this post.

Galactic Pillow Update – September 2013
As some people might have noticed I’ve been lagging on my posts but that’s because I’ve been in New York City for the past week and haven’t had much time to do anything blog related. Nevertheless, now I’m home and am back to my regular schedule so expect more updates in the coming weeks.

Technology – Blackberry Bold 9900 Unboxing
Here are some photos I took of my Blackberry Bold 9900 unboxing. Admittedly, this is actually the first Blackberry I’ve ever had the privilege of using every day and though I realize that the company is really going through some rocky times at the moment I have to say that overall this unit is physically quite nice.

Photography – iPhone 4S Launch
Unlike last year when I made the horrible mistake of lining up….five unsuccessful times to buy an iPhone 4 (a feat I will never allow myself to partake in ever again!) this year I decided to do the less-stressful activity and order my iPhone 4S online right from the Apple store. In fact I stayed up till 3AM, which got delayed to 4AM, just to be one of the first in line to place my order. Thankfully that went through without a hitch although being delayed is always aggravating.

Photography – Fairview Mall Food Court
My next set of pictures come from Fairview Mall which is probably my most visited shopping mall of all time. I don’t know whether or not that is a positive or negative factor! Regardless, here are a few shots from different angles of the food court area which was renovated a few years ago. Before the renovation this area used to be empty space that was only utilized for special events such as building Santa Claus’ castle during X-Mas season. The food court was previously located upstairs near the cinemas but I figure that the owner decided on a major redesign. I can’t say it has hurt as the food court is almost continuously packed and is about impossible to find a seat on weekends.

Photography – iPad 2 Launch
For my first photography post I looked into my recent photo backups and realized that I might as well start from a recent event thus here are two shots I took while I was lining up on iPad 2 launch day at the Best Buy at Markville Shopping Mall. I can’t say that they are the most interesting or dynamic shots I’ve ever taken but as is customary with these types of events I find people tend to take shots of the huge lineup as a kind of memento. In hindsight I wish I had taken a photo of the iPad 2 launch in Fairview Mall since people were lining up from the Apple Store all the way to the other side of the mall – we’re talking hundreds of people!
