PS3 – The Last of US: Left Behind DLC Opening Cinematic Trailer

by Master Pillow

After winning a ton of awards last year developer Naughty Dog is back with some single-player DLC for their highly acclaimed title, The Last of Us.  Entitled “Left Behind” the DLC takes place long before Ellie meets Joel in the game and instead focuses on her and her best friend, Riley.  That’s all I’m really going to say to avoid spoiling anything for those who still haven’t played the game.

I already reviewed the game and awarded it the highest rating of four stars out of four making it one of the best titles from the past generation of consoles and a seriously strong reason to pick up a Playstation 3 itself.  The game is not for everyone but those who want a more mature experience should consider picking it up.

So far developer Naughty Dog hasn’t divulged how long the DLC will take to complete although it has set the price at a fairly steep $14.99.  The game might be one of the best on the PS3 but here’s hoping that the DLC actually is worth its premium price.  The Last of US: Left Behind is scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day February 14th.

Be warned that this almost three minute long video is actually the opening cinematic from the DLC so those who don’t want to be spoiled about anything should probably consider staying away.
